These were not just competitions. They were a proving ground.

A Golden Moment: U.S. Selections Victory

On January 10, 2025, as temperatures plunged to 9°F and snowflakes floated through the crisp mountain air, Ashton stood at the top of the in-run, focused and fearless. With the crowd hushed and the stakes sky-high, he secured a score of 98 for back-Double-Full-Full — a bold, technical jump that landed him at the top of the podium.

1st Place. Selections Winner & Champion. Domestic World Cup Qualified.

This wasn’t just a personal best — it was a career-launching statement. With the win, Ashton officially earned U.S. World Cup starts — moving from an independent competitor to a contender with undeniable presence on the national scene.

He once again brought his A-game: Clean technique, sharp execution, and composure under pressure earned Ashton a 5th place finish at the 2025 U.S. Nationals — solidifying that his win at Selections was no fluke.
